Tool Operation
1. There are total 11 sections of torque settings on the tool.
Adjust the proper setting to the job.
2. Use drilling application, use the maximum torque setting.
3. Select the torque ring to the
torque position if you would like to make a drill on wood.
Installing or Removing Bit
Always be sure that the machine is switched off and the battery pack
is removed before installing or removing the bit.
Caution
1. F or reversing the machine, (See Fig.1) use the forward/reverse rod on the
drive unit. The directions of the rotation are also shown on the face of the bar.
2. Always check the direction of rotation before operation.
3. Use the forward/reverse rod only after the machine come to a complete stop. Changing the direction
of rotation before the machine stops may damage the machine.
4. H old the machine firmly and place the point of driver bit in the screw head. Apply forward pressure
to the machine to the extent that the bit will not slip off the screw and turn the machine on to start
operation.
•
Use the proper bit that you wish to use.
•
Hold the machine pointed straight at the screw. If you tighten the screw for a time longer than it
needs, the screw or the print of the driver bit may be overstressed, stripped, damaged, etc. Before
starting your job, always perform a test operation to determine the proper tightening time for your
screw. When tightening a standard screw in a steel plate, the proper tightening torque can be
obtained in an extremely short time.
•
W hen the battery pack is discharged almost completely, voltage will drop and the tightening
torque will be reduced.
•
Driver bit or socket bit:
Failure to use the correct size driver bit or socket bit will cause a reduction in the tightening
torque.
•
For driving a bolt:
Even though the torque coefficient and the class of bolt are the same, the proper tightening torque
will differ according to the diameter of the bolt.
5. The manner of holding the machine or the material of driving position to be tightened will affect the
torque.
Operating the machine at low speed will cause a reduction in the tightening torque.
