a) General Information
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children under 14 years of age.
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is prohibited for safety and
approval reasons (CE). Never disassemble the product.
• The product must not become damp or wet.
• Do not leave any packaging material unattended. It may become a dangerous playing material
for children!
• The product is only suitable for pumping model fuels.
• Never let the fuel pump run idle (without pumping fuel) for more than 30 seconds.
• Operating time should not exceed 10 minutes. Let the fuel pump cool down afterwards before
using it again. The fuel pump is not suitable for continuous operation.
b) Handling Model Fuels
• Be very careful when handling model fuels.
Always observe the safety notes of the manufacturer of the model fuel used by you.
Generally, the following rule applies:
Avoid direct skin contact with fuels. Never let fuels enter your mouth or eyes! Wash all
affected parts of your skin, eyes and mouth with large amounts of luke-warm, clean
water at once and see a doctor immediately if there are any problems (e.g. irritation of
the skin, shortness of breath, difficulties seeing, nausea, etc.).
Never swallow any fuels; if fuels are swallowed, consult a doctor immediately! Mortal
danger!
• Never breath in fuel vapours!
• When refilling or mixing model fuels, always ensure sufficient ventilation of the room or perform
this work outdoors.
There is a danger of explosion and fire; there is also a health hazard from breathing in
fuel fumes!
• Only use suitable containers for storing model fuels.
• Always keep the model fuel containers tightly closed.
• Store model fuels in a way that is inaccessible for children.
• Always keep the model fuel container away from sources of ignition and do not smoke when
handling model fuel.
There is a danger of explosion!
Operating Elements
1 Fuel gear pump
2 Connection cable (solder-on or connect it with a flat plug)
3 Tank hoses
4 Tank hose connections
Connection
• The fuel pump (1) should be firmly integrated into a start box. There is a mounting plate with the
respective attachment holes for this on the front.
To prevent the fuel pump vibrations from being transferred to the start box, place a piece of rubber/
silicone between the fuel pump and start box.
• The two motor contacts at the rear end of the fuel pump are either soldered to the respective
connection cables (2), or you can use a matching flat plug for connecting the cables.
• Only direct current voltage of 12V= should be used for operating the fuel pump. Polarity can be
set either way; depending on polarity and the fuel hoses connected, fuel is pumped into or out of
the tank.
Using a switch in between (it can be attached to the start box in a suitable position), model fuel
can be pumped into both directions.
• The two fuel hoses (3) (dimensions 2.5 x 5mm) are pushed onto the fuel pump connections.
When installing the fuel hoses in your start box, ensure that they are not bent or damaged in any
other way. Use, e.g., cable ties for fastening the hoses in the start box (do not over-tighten cable
ties, because the hoses are squeezed off otherwise, which prevents fuel from being pumped).
When fuelling or emptying model vehicles, ensure that no model fuel can contaminate
the environment.
Collect any excess fuel with a suitable rag.
Never fill model vehicle tanks to overflowing. Use a hose to connect the tank bleeder
to a collection container to prevent any accidentally overflowing fuel from getting into
the ground.
Model fuels are not only harmful to health, but also to the environment!
Disposal
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory
regulations.
