Slide a cutting wedge or crow-
bar into the felling cut as soon
as the cutting depth so permits,
in order to prevent the blade
from getting jammed. When
the felling cut nears the hinge,
the tree should begin to fall. If it
becomes apparent that the tree
might not fall into the desired
direction or if it bends back, and
if the chainsaw is stuck, dis-
continue the felling cut and use
wooden, plastic or aluminium
wedges to open the cut and fell
the tree to fall into the desired
fall line.
5. If the trunk diameter is larger
than the length of the chain bar,
make two cuts.
For safety reasons, we advise
inexperienced users not to fell
any logs with a rail length which is
smaller than the trunk diameter.

Use only original spare parts.
Allow the machine to cool down
before all maintenance and
cleaning works. Danger of burn
injuries!
Maintenance intervals
Regularly carry out the maintenance oper-
ations listed in the following table. The life
of the saw is extended by regular main-
tenance of your chainsaw. Furthermore,
you get optimum cutting performance and
avoid accidents.
