When installing the hood,
●
make sure to observe the
distances.
The minimum distance
●
between the cooktop
surface and the lowest
part of the range hood
must be:
Electric cooktop:
Gas cooktop:
Coal/oil cooker:
Check the distances
recommended by the
manufacturer of the
cooktop installed under
the hood and use the
greater of the two
indicated distances.
If the hood is installed
●
between kitchen cabinet
walls, they should not
overhang it.
When cutting or drilling
●
into a wall or ceiling, do
not damage the electrical
wiring, the ducts, the
pipes, etc.
Important safety instructions
70 cm
70 cm
80 cm
The exhaust ducts must
●
always have an outlet
opening to the outside.
The edges of the hood
●
are very sharp. Be
careful when handling
the appliance, especially
when installing and
cleaning it.
If the room in which
●
the hood is to be used
contains a fuel burning
appliance, for example a
central heating boiler, the
flue of the central heating
boiler must be of the
watertight or suction type.
• If other types of flues or
appliances are installed,
ensure that there is
adequate air supply to
the room. When the hood
is used with its extraction
function, make sure that
the duct is fireproof and
that it does not have any
bent part of more than
90°, as this would reduce
the efficiency of the hood.
