Safety Instructions
1.1
General
•
Read the user manual completely and carefully before use.
It is part of the product and contains important information for correct use.
•
Keep this user manual.
It must be available for uncertainties and passing the product.
•
The product may be used only in easily accessible outlets to quickly
remove it in an emergency and after use.
•
Voltage-free only when the plug is pulled.
•
In case of emergency, during thunderstorms and after use, pull the pro-
duct on its plug housing!
•
Do not open the housing.
•
Only let a trained electrical engineer do installation, disassembling, main-
tenace and repairing work.
•
Compare the specifications of product, power supply and peripherals.
These must be identical.
•
Do not repair defective products by yourself, but contact the dealer or
producer.
•
Do not modify or alter product nor accessories.
•
Avoid stresses such as heat and cold, moisture and direct sunlight, vibra-
tion and mechanical pressure.
•
Only use in dry ambience.
•

Description and Function
2.1
Description
This product reads and writes 2 hard drives simultaneously. It is tailored for 2.5" and
3.5" hard drives with SATA I/II/III data connection and supports offline & online copy
operation. Thanks to super-speed, a fast data transfer via USB 3.0 connection is
possible and backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1. The LED function display
provides information on the device status. The supported Disk capacity is max. 4 TB.
Hot swapping, Plug & Play and Clone function are also available.

Intended Use
We do not permit using the device in other ways like described in chapter
Description and Function. Use the product only in dry interior rooms. Not
attending to these regulations and safety instructions might cause fatal
accidents, injuries, and damages to persons and property.

Preparing

Connecting

Ensure safe cable laying.

1.
Set the docking station on a flat and non-slipping surface.
2.
Plug the power supply into the DC port of the docking station
and to a free and easily accessible power outlet.
3.
Connect the USB 3.0 cable to the USB 3.0 port on the
docking station and to a free USB port on your PC.
No need to install software. The PC automatically recognizes the docking station by
plug and play with operating systems Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1.
4.
Turn on the docking station and your PC for online cloning.
5.
Insert the copy source disk in slot A.
6.
Insert the blank target disk in slot B.
The transmission is also possible offline. The hard disk capacity in slot B must
always be bigger than the in slot A.

Cloning

6.1
Offline cloning
1.
Press the Clone button for about 3 seconds.
When released, the „100 % LED" lights.
2.
Press the Clone button again briefly 1x.
The cloning process starts and the progress is indicated by the flashing LEDs. When
the „100% LED" lights continuously, the cloning process is completed.
After cloning the docking station will change into sleep mode after 30 minutes.
This is indicated by the flashing of the „POWER LED".
•
Press 1x briefly the Clone button to put the docking station
into standby mode or to check the cloning process concluded.
6.2
Online cloning
•
Clone the source hard disk via the copy function of your PC.
The reading and writing of the hard drives will be displayed on the flashing LEDs.
After cloning the docking station will change into sleep mode after 30 minutes.
This is indicated by the flashing of the „POWER LED".
