Notes for Use
• The personal scale is designed for a maximum weight of
180 kg (396.8 lb).
• To obtain a comparable value, we recommend that you
always weigh yourself at the same time of day without
clothes and shoes.
• The scale rounds up or down in steps of 50 g.
Using the Appliance
1. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface (avoid carpets). An
uneven floor contributes to inaccurate measurements.
2. Turn on the scale by light pressure with the foot onto the
weighing surface.
3. The value "0.00 kg" appears (0.0 lb). The display also
shows the room temperature in °C.
• There is a small button on the back of the scale.
Press this button when switched on to select between
the settings "kg" and "lb".
4. Stand on the scale with both feet.
5. Distribute your weight equally and wait for the scale to
determine your weight.
6. The digits on the display will flash before your exact
weight will be shown.
• In order to extend the battery life, the appliance will
automatically turn off 10 seconds after you have
stepped off the scale.
• If there is no weight determination while "0.00" is
shown, the scale will shut off automatically after
10 seconds.
• If the display shows "EEEE", the weight is over 180 kg
(396.8 lb). In this case, step off the scale immediately,
otherwise the scale may be damaged.
