SPECIFIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1.
Never exceed the 1,000 lb load capacity.
2.
Only use the ramps for loading purposes. Never use them for supports or to bridge a gap.
3.
All person not involved in the loading process must stand clear of the loading ramps.
4.
Do not drive a vehicle up the loading ramps as serious injury could result.
5.
Ensure the load vehicle's engine is cool to the touch before loading to avoid personal injury.
6.
All loading and unloading must be done on a flat, level, dry surface.
7.
DO NOT drop weight on ramp as this may exceed load capacity and possibly lead to personal
injury or property damage
ASSEMBLY
NOTE: When this manual refers to a part number, it refers to the included Parts List section.
WARNING: When mounting, the flange must face down with the tongue (#2) fully contacting the
tailgate. (Fig. 1) This keeps the ramps from moving once the weight of the load is riding on the ramp.
1.
Line up the four holes on the tongue (#2) with the four holes on the ramp (#1).
2.
Insert four bolts (#3) from the top, as shown in the Parts Breakdown section, and secure with
split lock washers (#4) and nuts (#5).
3.
Repeat with other ramp.
