the LED lighting system is much more secure,
economic and has a longer life in comparison
to the traditional lighting systems. The emitted
light has an excellent quality, being the ideal for
the well grown of the aquatic species.
The LED lighting system does not need mainte-
nance. In case of failure or damage on the power
cord or malfunction of the system, these cannot
be repaired. You should replace it by a new one.
LED H2O Lighting System
The LED H2O light units allow the circulation
of the water inside the system, providing their
cooling. This way, the LED H2O lighting system
has a longer lifetime. Due to its performance
under low voltage, it is safer and economical. In
case of breakdown or damage with the power
cable or the system itself, there is no possibi-
lity of reparation. The whole system must be
replaced by another. Only the water pump is
replaceable in the system.
Pump maintenance - To undock the pump
from the system, follow the following steps and
consult the illustrations in the end of this guide.
1. Unscrew the screws and remove the piece A.
2. Press the piece C and, simultaneously, undock
the piece B.
3.a) Remove the foams D.
3.b) Slide the piece C through the light unit
aluminium rail.
3.c) Undock the EasyFlux pump E from the tube.
To proceed to the cleaning of the pump, consult
its guide.
Cleansing - Every time the maintenance is
made, proceed with the cleaning of the H2O
lighting system, introducing a water jet through
the interior of the circuit.
DISPOSAL
Do not dispose the product as common
garbage. It should be delivered in an adequate

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Warning! To guard against injury, you should take
some precautions when handling the light unit,
including the following:
1. READ AND FOLLOW ALL THE SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS for the good use and unders-
tanding of this product. Failure to do so may
result in damage to it.
a) Do not operate any appliance if it has a
damage cord or plug, or if it is malfunctioning
or damage in any manner.
b) To avoid the possibility of the appliance plug
or receptacle getting wet, put the unit to one
side of a wall mounted receptacle to prevent
water from dripping onto the receptacle or
plug. A "drip loop" (see illustration) should be
arranged to the receptacle. The "drip loop" is
the part of the cord below the level of the
receptacle or the connector if an extension
cord is used, to prevent water travelling along
the cord and coming into contact with the
receptacle. If the plug or receptacle does get
wet, DON´T unplug the cord. Disconnect the
fuse or circuit breaker that supplies power to
the appliance. Then unplug and examine for
presence of water in the receptacle.
2. This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Children
shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
3. To avoid injury, do not contact moving parts
or hot parts, such as heaters.
4. Always unplug the appliance from the outlet
when not in use, before putting or taking off
parts, and before cleaning. Never yank the cord
to pull the plug from the outlet. Grasp the plug
and pull it to disconnect.
5. Do not use an appliance for other than the
intended use (i.e. don't use on swimming pools,
garden ponds, bathrooms, etc.). The use of
non-recommended attachments may cause an
unsafe condition.
6. Do not install or store the appliance where
it will be exposed to the water or to tempera-
tures below freezing.
7. Make sure that the appliance is securely
installed before operating it.
W ARNING: Do not plug the light unit if there
is water on parts not intended to be wet. Do
not place any objects on the light unit. Ensure
sufficient air space around the same.
8. Read and observe all the important notices
on the appliance.
9. If an extension cord is necessary, a cord with
a proper rating should be used. A cord rated
for less amperes or watts than the appliance
rating may overheat.
10. Setting the aquarium on a solid base is
essential because, once it is full, will have a
superior weight than its water volume. Make
sure there is no sand or grit present between
the underside of the glass tank bottom and
the base, as this may cause the glass to break
