Bolt M10 x 1.25 x 40mm CL8.8

Remove appearance panel which covers the trunk pan. Using a small Philips tip screwdriver, unscrew plastic screws (10) while
applying pressure to the opposite end, M6 nuts (3). Return plastic fascia covering to vehicle owner.
2.
Lower vehicle exhaust by removing rubber exhaust hanger.
3.
Lift hitch into position, drivers side first. Place crosstube over top of tail pipe, with the side bracket as far into space behind
wheel well, rotate into position on the outside of the frame rail.
4.
Raise the passenger side of the hitch into position on the outside of the frame rails and in front of bulkhead.
5.
Install fasteners as shown. Hand tighten fasteners.
6.
Push hitch toward the rear of the vehicle and tighten all fasteners.
7.
Reattach rubber muffler hanger.
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to
prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working
beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
