Thank you for choosing a Xavax product.
Take your time and read the following instructions and
information completely. Keep these operating instructions
in a safe place for future reference.
1. Explanation of Warning Symbols and Notes

4. Safety Notes
• This device is intended for private, non-
commercial use only.
• Protect the device from dirt, moisture and overheating,
and only use it in dry locations.
• Do not drop the device and do not expose it to any major
shocks.
• Do not operate the device outside of its operating limits
as de ned in the technical speci cations.
• Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it
becomes damaged.
• Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children
due to the risk of suffocation.
• Dispose of packaging material immediately according to
locally applicable regulations.
• Do not modify the device in any way. Doing so voids the
warranty.
• When inserting batteries, note the correct polarity (+
and - markings) and place.
• the batteries accordingly. Failure to do so could

result in the batteries leaking or exploding.
• Do not short-circuit the batteries.
• Do not recharge the batteries.
• Do not throw the batteries in a re.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Do not allow children to change batteries without
supervision.

• If the device is not used for a long period of time,
remove the batteries.
5. Getting Started
5.1 Insert the batteries:
Open the battery compartment on the back and remove
the contact breaker (plastic tab protruding from the side)
from the installed battery.
If the battery is dead, remove it and insert a new CR2032
button cell into the battery compartment. Make sure that
the polarity (+/-) is correct. The positive pole (+) must point
upwards. Close the battery compartment fully
5.2 . Units of measurement
The following units of measurement can be selected:
'g' (gram), 'ml' (millilitre), 'lb:oz' (pound:ounce), 'oz'
(ounce). Press the Unit button to select one of the units of
measurement in the given order: g-lb:oz-oz-ml-g.
