PLAYING COMPACT DISCS

NORMAL PLAYBACK

Press the POWER/STANDBY button to turn
the unit on; the STANDBY indicator will go
out and the display's backlight will light.

Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open
the CD compartment. Insert a CD with
the label side facing up and close the
compartment. The CD player will read
the table of contents on the disc and the
total number of tracks will appear in the
display.

Adjust the VOLUME control as desired.
Playback will continue until all tracks on
the disc have been played.

Repeatedly press the FUNCTION button
to select the CD mode.

Press the PLAY/PAUSE (®p) button to
begin playback on Track 1.

To stop playback before the disc ends,
press the STOP (I) button.
