I N S T A L L I N G T H E
1.
Remove the two foam blocks from between the Book Clamps.The
Book Clamps can be easily opened with finger pressure.
2.
Check to see that the Power Switch is "Off " by depressing the side of
the Power Switch marked "O".The Power Switch is located at the
lower left front corner of the machine (figure 1 page 3).
3.
Install the Book Fence by positioning it on the two brackets on top of
the rear Book Clamp. Press it straight down until it clicks into place.
4.
Install the Cooling Rack. (
placing it on top of the machine, or free-standing.) To install the
Cooling Rack on the machine, simply place it on the top rear surface of
the machine, behind the rear Book Clamp. Gently push it back, until
the front flange of the Cooling Rack clips into place.
5.
Plug the Power Cord into the outlet on the back of the machine.
Then connect the Power Cord to a standard, grounded electrical outlet.
To Operate the Machine
1.
Turn the Power Switch to the "On" position.
2.
Allow the machine to warm up (3 – 4 minutes).
When the Book Clamps open, your Fastback
binding machine is ready for use.
