Press the blue metal book rest back into its original position, until it
clicks and locks into place.

Close the machine by pressing down on both sides of the cover until
the latch clicks and locks in position.
Cleaning the Backup Bars
1.
Turn the Power Switch to "Off ", unplug the machine, and follow steps
1 – 5 detailed in "Removing a Jammed Binderstrip
2.
To clean the lower backup bar, pull the lower bar toward you and, at
the same time, push back the upper bar (figure 7).
3.
Clean the edges of the bar with a cloth dampened with the Cleaning
Solution provided in your Accessory Pack.
4.
To clean the upper backup bar, pull the upper bar toward you and, at
the same time, push back the lower bar.
5.
Clean the edges of the bar with a cloth dampened with the Cleaning
Solution provided in your Accessory Pack.
6.
Close the machine by pressing down on both sides of the cover until
the latch clicks and locks in position.
