9.9 Replacing the back rest cover
Put the headrest (F) into the highest position. For easier cover replacement,
place the seat on an even surface.
Now pull the cover over the left and right shoulder rests (G) and adjust the cover
so that it lies evenly on the backrest (B) and doesn't pull.
Then close the two hook and loop fasteners on the rear side of the shoulder
rests (G).
10 Care instructions
10.1 Cleaning the cover
The covers are an essential component of the safety concept. Therefore, only
the manufacturer's original covers may be used. Replacement covers can be
ordered from specialist dealers.
The cover can be washed in gentle cycle at 30 . Do
not use the spinning cycle and do not tumble dry.
The impact shield cover may not be removed or washed!
10.2 Cleaning the plastic parts
Plastic parts can be cleaned with a mild detergent or with a damp cloth. Never
use aggressive cleaning agents (e.g. solvents).
11 Steps to take after an accident
After an accident with an impact speed greater than 10 km/h, the child restraint
system must be sent back to the manufacturer without fail, to be checked for
possible damages and replaced if necessary.
