Turn the transmitter on and move the throttle le-
ver to the lowest position. Note: If not already
done so, go to the transmitter menu to model
memory 5 and model type Plane (see also chap-
ter remote control).
All LED's lights up. Close the battery compart-
ment cover.
Lock motors: Move the right stick to the lowest right position and hold it for about 3 seconds. If you now
open the throttle the motors won't start. For reasons of security always use this mode if you are not flying.
Flight modes
The quadcopter has two flight modes:
0
3-axis mode
GYRO
SENS
6-axis mode

Note: For the first flight tests in 3D mode, you should look for a large area without obstructions (prefe-
rably a meadow with long grass for a soft landing). We recommend that you set the servo travel of ELEV and
AILE to 100-110% (factory setting: 100%).
When you switch between modes during the flight, be sure to adjust the throttle - the 3D mode requires a

6-axis gyro: the model flies self-stabilizing, ie. release the control stick,
the quadcopter will stabilize itself and hovers on the spot - ideal for
beginners.
3-axis gyro: without self-stabilization, also flips and rolls can be flown
