  • Page 2 • Do not attempt to service this device. If a self retracting lifeline does not operate satisfactorily or requires repairs, return the device to Spider or an authorized service center for repairs.
  • Page 3 Substitution or replacement must be accomplished only under the supervision of a qualified person. It is recommended that the worker wear a Spider full-body harness to distribute the fall arresting forces over the body and to keep an unconscious or injured worker in an upright position.
  • Page 4 III. INSTALLATION OF SELF-RETRACTING LIFELINES A. The Spider Self-Retracting Lifelines can be mounted as shown in Fig. 1 to an overhead anchor by the anchor attachment using a locking snaphook or by another Spider approved mounting device. A record log of all servicing and inspection dates for this device must be maintained by the company safety officer.

SERVICIO El servicio debe ser realizado exclusivamente por un técnico de servicio aprobado de Spider, capacitado en la reparación y servicio de los sistemas/ dispositivos de cabos de salvamento para la supresión de caídas. El oficial de seguridad de la empresa debe llevar una bitácora de todas las fechas de servicio e inspección para este dispositivo.

ALMACENAMIENTO Almacénelo en un lugar seco y limpio cuando no se encuentre en uso.
