SPECIAL CORD
SET INSTRUCTIONS
Regarding your cord
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk
of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fully fit into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from becoming entangled
in or tripping over a longer cord. If a long extention cord is used, the marked electrical rating
of the extention cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
Cords rated for less amperage may overheat.
Care should be taken to arrange the cord so that it cannot be pulled or tripped over.
Material damage
The mini-chopper is designed to operate for short periods of time: do not run it
continuously for longer than 15 seconds. If you want to use it for longer periods of time,
switch it off for 5 minutes and let the power unit cool off.
This appliance is equipped with non-skid feet. Nowadays, furniture is often coated with a
wide range of varnishes and plastics and is treated with various substances. Therefore, it
cannot be fully ruled out that some of these substances contain components that can
damage or soften the rubber feet. Place a non-slip mat under the mini-chopper if you are
working on a fragile or sensitive countertop.
