MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Only qualified service personnel should repair the
tool. An improperly repaired tool may present a hazard to the
user and/or others.
1. Maintain the tool with care. A tool in good condition is
efficient, easier to control and will have fewer problems.
2. Inspect the tool components periodically. Repair or replace
damaged or worn components.
3. Make sure engine has reached its normal
operating temperature
4. To keep this tool in its optimum running condition, wipe the
entire tool with a clean cloth and periodically blow out all
connections and joints with compressed air. If compressed
air is not available, use a soft brush to remove dust
and grime.
5. As necessary, clean the lens on the Gauge with warm water
and a neutral detergent. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth
and gently snap back into place to prevent loss or damage.
NOTICE! Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents to clean this
tool. Chemicals can seriously damage the plastic housing.
STORAGE
When not in use for an extended period, apply a thin coat of
lubricant to the steel parts to avoid rust. Remove the lubricant
before using the tool again.
DISPOSAL
Recycle a tool damaged beyond repair at the appropriate facility.
