The vibration emission level indicated in this informa-
tion sheet has been measured in accordance with a
standardised test specifi ed in EN 60745 and may be
used to compare one tool with another.
It may be used for a preliminary assessment of expo-
sure.
The declared vibration emission level represents the
main applications of the tool. However if the tool is
used for diff erent applications, with diff erent acces so-
ries or poorly maintained, the vibration emission may
diff er. This may signifi cantly increase the exposure
level over the total working period.
An estimation of the level of exposure to vibration
should also take into account the times when the tool
is switched off or when it is running but not actually
doing the job. This may signifi cantly reduce the
exposure level over the total working period.
Identify additional safety measures to protect the ope-
rator from the eff ects of vibration include: main taining
the tool and the accessories, keeping hands warm,
organisation of work patterns.
3.0 Preparing the machine
3.1 Dust extraction
► Dusts from materials such as lead-containing coatings,
some wood types, minerals and metal can be harmful
to one's health. Touching or inhaling the dusts can
cause allergic reactions and/or lead to respiratory
infections of the user or bystanders.
Certain dusts, such as oak or beech dust, are con-
sidered carcinogenic, especially in connection with
wood-treatment additives (chromate, wood pre
servative). Materials containing asbestos may only be
worked on by specialists.
– Use dust extraction whenever possible.
– Provide for good ventilation of the work area.
– The use of a P2 fi lter class respirator is recommended.
Observe the relevant regulations in your country for the
materials to be worked.
The vacuum cleaner must be approved for the extraction
of masonry dust. WOLFF provides:
STARVAC MI55 wet and dry vacuum cleaner #60800
Push the adapter (12) onto the dust extraction socket
(15) of the machine. Now you can connect the vacuum
cleaner hose.
3.2 Divider removal/installation Figure C
If the cutting quality deteriorates, the cutting disc
must be replaced.
Remove the battery from the machine before chan-
ging the blade
pull out! Unintended switching on of the machine
can lead to injuries, e.g. to the hands.
Before installing the blade, make sure that the clam-
ping fl ange and the cut-off wheel are clean.
Dirt can lead to increased vibrations and uneven
running.
Wear protective gloves when changing the cutting
disc to protect yourself from cuts on the sawing
surface.
► Diamond cutting discs are cleaned when working
very hot, do not touch them before they have
cooled down.
- Press spindle lock (11).
- Loosen clamping nut (10) with a two-hole
spanner SW17.(Counterclockwise hand!)
- Remove cutting blade and clean clamping nut.
► Replacement only with original cutting blades:
#068602 Diamond cutting blade
- The installation is carried out in reverse order.
- Pay attention to the direction of rotation when
inserting the cutting blade.
► Make sure that the diamond cutting disc
is centred with the clamping nut (10).
