7. Maintenance

(A) RECOMMENDATIONS FOR WASHING:
The garments may be industrially dry cleaned when required:

TEXTILE:
• Wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC.
• Do not use bleach.
• May be ironed at 150ºC.
• Dry clean.

HALF-MASK AND FILTERS: Remove the valves and filter before engaging in any operation. Each equipment set
should be used individually by only one person. If it is used by more than one person, it must be disinfected before each
use by submerging it in a solution comprised of 4.63 g/l phenol; 1.54 g/l sodium tetraborate; 0.79 g/l sodium phenate;
1.31g/l glutaraldehyde, for 15 minutes. Clean with water and neutral soap. Never use petroleum derivatives, chlorinated
fluids or basic organic solvents. Rinse with clean water. Completely dry all components. Clean the filter housing with a
dry cloth.
(B) STORAGE:
Keep the equipment set in a clean, dry place away from moisture, direct sunlight and contaminants under the following
conditions.
• Temperature: 5ºC to 40ºC.
• Humidity: 20 to 80% relative humidity.
• Placing the equipment set in a zip-lock bag is recommended when transporting.
