Besonderheiten
Geräusche
Um eine gleichmäßige Dampfleistung zu
gewährleisten, ist Ihr Bügelgerät mit einer Pumpe
ausgestattet. Diese macht sich bemerkbar, sobald
Sie die Dampftaste des Bügeleisens drücken. Unter
gewissen Bedingungen hört man sie deutlicher:
- bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme
- wenn der Wassertank leer ist
- bei jedem Austauschen der Kalkfilter-Kartusche.
Während des Betriebs ist das Surren der Pumpe
normal.
Vertikales Bügeln
Das Bügeleisen kann bei vertikalem Bügeln auch
senkrecht gehalten werden, um hängende Kleidung
oder andere Textilien zu glätten.
Dabei das Bügeleisen von oben nach unten führen
und mehrmals die Dampftaste drücken.
Bügeltipp
Am besten das zu dämpfende
Stück glatt gespannt halten. Die
Bügelqualität hängt von der Art des
Gewebes ab.
Automatische Sicherheits-
abschaltung
Das
Gerät
verfügt
Sicherheitsabschaltung,
Nichtbenutzung das Gerät zunächst in einen „Stand-
by"-Modus versetzt und nach weiteren 2 Minuten
komplett außer Betrieb stellt.
Automatischer „Stand-by"-Modus:
Befindet sich das Gerät im „Stand-by" - Modus, blinkt
die Betriebs-Kontrolllampe langsam und gleichzeitig
ertönt ein Warnton. Durch einfaches Drücken der
Dampftaste wird der Aufheizvorgang wieder in
Gang gesetzt.
Modus „Außer Betrieb":
Befindet sich das Gerät im Modus „Außer Betrieb",
muss es mit dem „Ein/Aus"-Knopf wieder komplett
neu gestartet und aufgeheizt werden.
• In beiden Fällen warten Sie, bis die Betriebs-
Kontrolllampe wieder dauernd leuchtet. Ein Tonsignal
weist darüber hinaus darauf hin, dass das Gerät
wieder betriebsbereit ist.

Noise
To ensure constant steam output performance, your
unit is equipped with a pump which is activated
each time the steam trigger is pressed. It is loudest
when there is no water in the system e.g.:
- the appliance is used for the first time
- the water tank is empty
- the anti-scale cartridge has just been changed.
During normal use the pump has a gentle humming
sound.
Vertical ironing
Your iron can also be used vertically to steam
clothes on hangers or curtains in situ etc.
Move the iron from bottom to top, keeping the
steam button pressed.
Ironing tip
For best results, the material to be
steamed should be taut. The results
vary according to the type of fabric.
Automatic electric safety system
For your own safety, the steam station is equipped with
an automatic device which turns the appliance into
sleep-mode after 8 minutes, and switches it off after
10 minutes in case it has been forgotten.
As soon as the appliance is on, but not used, this
function is activated and:
• u rns the appliance into automatic sleep-
mode:
if the station is not used for 8 minutes, the on/off light
slowly flashes and an audible signal can be heard
when the appliance turns into sleep-mode. Press the
trigger and the station will start heating again.
• c ompletely switches off the appliance:
2 minutes after the automatic sleep-mode has been
activated. Press the On/off switch to restart the
appliance.
• In both cases, wait until the On/Off pilot light is
permanently on, indicating that the appliance is
ready for use again. An audible signal indicates that
the appliance is ready to supply steam again.
