Drainage
During the process of cooling, some water will be
extracted from the air into the unit. If the reservoir
is full, both the compressor and motor will switch
off and the units will buzz and the Full Water icon
will light up. When the water is full, please following
the steps below: (fig. 1 position 9)
Turn off the air conditioner and avoid moving it

when the water tank is full.
Put a container (a water tray for example)

underneath the drain hole.
Remove the drain knob & rubber plug

(figure 3) and allow the water to drain out.
When the container is almost full, close the

drain hole with the rubber plug and empty the
water tray.
Repeat until the unit is empty.

Place back the rubber plug and tighten firmly.

Switch on the device- the full water indicator

should be off.
If you wish to operate the unit without the need to
empty the water tank (continuous drainage), please
follow these steps:
Remove the drain knob and rubber plug and

retain for future use. (figure 1)
Connect the drain tube supplied to the water
•
outlet as shown and locate the other end into a
drain. (figure 2)

• The drain tube may be extended by adding an
extension tube and using a suitable connector.
Note:
• The drain must be at or below the outlet level.
• The FULL WATER indicator will be disabled in this
mode of drainage.

WiFi mode
When pluging the device, the WiFi indicator will
flash and start searching from devices to pair. Once
connected, the WiFi indicator will turn solid.
If you want to change the WiFi setting, press and
hold the button to reset the WiFi setting till
seeing the WiFi indicator flash again.
WiFi and APP operation
Scan below QR code to download the Duux APP or
search DUUX APP in the App Store or Google Play
Store. Once installed, enter your e-mail address
and complete the registration.

Connect to WiFi
Once registered, click "add duux device" on the

main screen or use the "+" button in the top
right corner to add a new device.,
Search for "North" and press to continue

Connect to your preferred WiFi network and

enter the corresponding password
Follow the instructions in the app to complete

the pairing process.
Note: if you experience any problems with
connecting or using the app, please refer to the
FAQ in the app menu.
