V. INSTALLATION
1.
Remove factory bolts, for fairlead, using 15mm
wrench and 15mm socket. Assemble fairlead to ATV
using factory bolts. See Figure 1.
2.
Assemble mounting plate (A1) to winch (C1) using 4,
5/16 - 18 x .75" hex head bolts (B4) and 4 5/16" lock
washers (B2). Tighten to recommended torque
specifications on page 2. See Figure 2.
3.
Un-spool two to three feet of cable from the winch
(C1). Pull unspooled cable through fairlead when
placing assembled winch and mounting bracket (A1)
into position on ATV frame. See Figures 3 and 4.
