MS Fan Controller Options
The MS Fan Controller is especially developed for controlling fans in cattle barns. The controller has
the following options:
Measuring the room temperature.
Fan control
Measuring the external temperature. (If an external sensor is connected)
Minimum and maximum temperature alarm.
Maximum temperature alarm with outdoor temperature compensation.
(If an external sensor is connected)
Alarm for defective room sensor.
Operating the MS Fan Controller
On the front of the MS Fan Controller there is a display (3 digits), a selection button to select the
desired function, a rotary knob to adjust the settings and a SET button. The selection button allows
you to choose between 12 possible functions. The 3-digit display will then show the value of the
selected function. If it is a set value, this value can be adjusted by turning the rotary knob. If you turn
to the left: the set value goes down; if you turn to the right: the set value goes up The digits in the
display will flash to indicate that the set value is being adjusted. As soon as the desired set value
has been reached, this value can be programmed by pressing the SET button. The display will no
longer flash and the controller will use the new set value. The decimal point after the third digit
indicates whether the heating is active.
As soon as the controller detects an alarm, this is shown in the display by means of a flashing code
(e.g.: "Alarm"): '-2-'). The alarm relay will now lapse, so that an externally connected alarm device
will be activated. Pressing the SET button will clear the alarm. The controller will now no longer test
this alarm until the cause of the alarm has disappeared. If the alarm situation is still present after 1
minute, the controller will generate the alarm again.
