injury or product or property damage.
Reel is shipped pre-tensioned at factory.
TO ADJUST TENSION
• Pull spray valve and hose out until the ratchet
goes through two sets of "clicks".
• Remove shroud screws and shroud (Fig.1) and
loosen top screw (Fig.2).
• Remove spray valve. Do not pull hose while
removing valve or shroud. This may cause
the hose to retract and cause injury
or damage property.
• Push hose through hose guide.
TO INCREASE TENSION (Fig.3)
• Pull hose out from the shroud opening.
• Loop hose back through and around hub inside
of case until the hose comes back through shroud opening.
• Place hose end through hose guide and reattach spray valve.
• Pull hose out until "clicking" stops and slowly retract hose until spray valve rests
against hose guide.
• Reattach shroud.
TO DECREASE TENSION (Fig.3)
• Pull hose out from the shroud opening.
• Un-loop hose back through and around
hub inside of case until the hose comes
back through shroud opening.
• Place hose end through hose guide and reattach spray valve.
• Pull hose out until "clicking" stops and slowly retract hose until spray valve rests
against hose guide.
• Reattach shroud.
Repeat either procedure until desired tension is achieved.
