9 HELP IN CASE OF MALFUNCTION
Malfunction
Appliance does not spray.
Motor does not run.
Motor cuts out.
Rechargeable battery operat-
ing time is significantly short-
er.
Rechargeable battery cannot
be charged.
10 TRANSPORT
Before transporting, carry out the following mea-
sures:
1. Switch off the appliance.
2. Remove the rechargeable battery from the
appliance.
3. Pack the battery properly.
NOTE
The nominal energy of the rechargeable
battery is less than 100 Wh. Therefore,
heed the following transport instructions.

Cause
Nozzle is clogged.
Spray hose is clogged.
Tank is empty.
Rechargeable battery is flat.
Rechargeable battery miss-
ing or rechargeable battery
not seated correctly.
Rechargeable battery is too
cold or too hot.
Motor protection switch has
tripped.
Ventilation slots soiled.
Rechargeable battery dis-
charged because it has not
been used for some time.
The service life of the re-
chargeable battery has ex-
pired.
Rechargeable battery con-
tacts are dirty.
Rechargeable battery or
charging unit is defective.
Rechargeable battery is too
hot.
NOTE
For malfunctions that are not listed in
this table or that you cannot resolve
yourself, please contact our customer
service.
Remedy
Clean nozzle.
Clean spray hose.
Fill tank with spraying solution.
Charge the rechargeable battery.
Insert the rechargeable battery cor-
rectly.
Warm up the rechargeable battery
slightly or allow it to cool down.
Wait until the motor protection switch
switches the machine back on.
Clean the equipment.
Charge the rechargeable battery.
Replace the rechargeable battery.
Only use genuine accessories from
the manufacturer.
Contact an AL-KO service centre.
Order spare parts. Contact an AL-KO
service centre.
Allow the battery to cool down.
The li-ion rechargeable battery contained in the
appliance is subject to the hazardous goods law,
but can be transported under simplified condi-
tions:

The undamaged rechargeable battery can be
transported on public roads by the private us-
er without further conditions provided it is
packaged for retail sale and the transport
serves personal purposes. The weight limits
for batteries sent separately must be ob-
served:
