To remove grill plates
1. Open the unit to the full, flat position, if it is already not in the position.
2. Press down on the single metal clip at the front of the unit; there is one for
the top plate and one for the bottom plate.
3. Lift the plate carefully at the front and pull away from the two metal clips
at the back of the unit, at the hinge area.
4. Carefully remove and set aside.

Clean the housing after use with a slightly damp cloth.
