•
Close the rear cap [3] firmly and insert the camera [1] into the holder [4].
•
Place the holder [4] in the bracket [7] or [8].
•
Press and hold the power button [11] for ±2s to switch on the camera. The
camera beeps 2 times and green power LED [10] switches on.
•
Press the power button [11] again to start recording. The power LED [10]
starts flashing (QVGA: slow, VGA: fast).
•
To stop recording, press the power button [11] again.
•
To switch off the camera press and hold the power button [11] again for ±2s.
The camera beeps once before switching off.
Playback/charging
•
Switch off the camera [11].
•
Unscrew the rear cap [3] and insert the included USB cable into the USB port
[16].
•
Make sure the VGA/QVGA selector [13] is in the 'VGA' position (left) and plug
the other end of the cable into a powered USB port.
•
During charging the red charge LED [9] is on. When charging is complete, it will
switch off.
•
Press and hold the power button [11] for ±2s to switch on the camera.
•
The computer will recognize the camera as an external storage device. You can
open files with a normal media player (format: .AVI) and move, copy or delete
them.
Playback on TV
•
It is also possible to play the recorded videos directly on a TV. Connect the TRS
jack of the included AV/cable in the AV output [14] and connect the RCA
connectors to a TV set (not incl.).
•
Press and hold the power button [11] for ±2s to switch on the camera.
•
The number of the video is indicated at the bottom of the screen. To move to
the next video, press and hold the power button [11] for ±2s.
•
Press the power button [11] to play the video on the TV. Press again to stop
playback.
7.
Webcam
•
Before connecting the camera to the PC, the driver software must be installed.
•
Insert the included CDROM into a CDROM drive.
•
Locate the file 'STK02N x.x.exe' (x.x = latest version) and double click it to start
the installation. Follow the instructions on the screen.
•
Unscrew the rear cap [3] of the camera and remove the SD card.
•
Set the VGA/QVGA selector [13] in the 'QVGA' position (right).
•
Insert the included USB cable into the USB port [16] and the other end of the
cable into the USB port.
•
Press and hold the power button [11] for ±2s to switch on the camera.
•
Open 'Control Panel' and double click 'Add Hardware'. Follow the instructions on
the screen to install the USB device ('standard camera').
•
When installation is finished, the camera is added under 'my computer' and can
be used as a webcam.
