5.- You can choose the feedback detection sensitivity with the SENSITIVITY control wheel. There are 15
sensitivity levels. You can choose the best one for your needs. To start with it is best to choose an
intermediate position.
The RESET/STOP position stops the feedback detection process and resets and restarts all the notch
filters. The LED LOCK and RELEASE indicators will blink.
6.- The LOCK control (LOCK/UPDATE FILTERS) allows the update mode for the notch filter parameters
to be selected.
With the LED LOCK indicator lit the feedback suppressor is in LOCK mode. In this case the 12 notch
filters per channel are estimated, adjusted once, fixed and then stop feedback detection. The RELEASE
control adjustments have no effect. This mode can be used when the microphones are in a fixed location.
If the LED LOCK indicator is switched off, the feedback suppressor is in UPDATE FILTERS mode. The
12 notch filters per channel are set at the beginning and feedback detection continues so that the notch
filters are reset and reused if necessary. In this case the RELEASE control adjustments do have an
effect. This mode can be used with microphones which are not in one fixed location.
7.- The RELEASE (RELEASE/MAINTAIN ATTENUATION) control chooses the notch filters attenuation
updating mode. This control only has an effect when the UPDATE FILTERS function is activated and the
LED LOCK indicator is off.
When the LED RELEASE indicator is on, the RELEASE mode has been chosen. In this case the
feedback suppressor gradually reduces the filter attenuation if it is not necessary, removing the
attenuation completely after a certain amount of time. If new feedback is produced, the filter attenuation
will be increased again.
With the LED RELEASE indicator off, the MAINTAIN ATTENUATION operating mode is chosen in which
the notch filter attenuation is fixed.
