CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS
FRONT PANEL
1.- INPUT LEVEL: input signal gain control.
2.- PROCESS ON-OFF: switch to activate or deactivate audio signal process in order to suppress feedback.
3.- OUTPUT LEVEL: output signal gain control.
4.- MIC IN-LINE IN: input, line or microphone signal level selector.
5.- L, R: LED input signal level indicators. To have a suitable signal/noise ratio and to optimize the
processing and detection of sound feedback, regulate the input gain control so that the input signal
level is approximately -6 dBu.
6.- CLIP: LED input signal distortion indicator. When the LED indicator lights up, it shows that processor
input is saturated. In this case, lower the input signal gain level.
7.- MONO/STEREO: mono or stereo mode selector. In mono mode feedback is detected in the left channel.
In stereo mode it is detected in both channels.
8.- LOCK: LED indicator of the filter parameter update mode.
9.- Parametric notch filter update mode selection button.
Press once, the LED indicator will light up and activate the LOCK mode, so that once the last notch
filter has been adjusted, the filter parameters are fixed and feedback detection is stopped. In this case
the RELEASE control has no effect.
Press the button again, the LED indicator will switch off showing that the UPDATE FILTERS mode is
activated, so that after the last notch filter being inserted, detection continues and if necessary the
previously inserted filters are reused. In this case the RELEASE control has an effect on the filters.
10.- SENSITIVITY: feedback detection sensitivity can be adjusted with the sensitivity selector from the MIN
to the MAX position through 15 sensitivity levels.
In the RESET/STOP position all the notch filters are reset and feedback detection is stopped, at the
same time as the LED LOCK and RELEASE indicators start blinking.
11.- RELEASE: LED notch filter attenuation update mode indicator.
Parametric notch filter attenuation update mode selection button. Press it once, the LED indicator will
light up and activate the RELEASE mode so that the system will progressively reduce, and could even
deactivate, the attenuation of the active notch filters if they are not necessary. If new feedback is
produced, the attenuation of the filters will increase again.
Pressing the button again, the LED indicator will turn off and the MAINTAIN mode will be activated and
therefore the filter attenuation stays fixed once adjusted.
12.- LED power indicator.
13.- POWER: on/off switch.
