7. As an option, a fourth bike ramp can be installed. This one may only be loaded with 15 kg. It
is fastened using 2 clamps onto the rear bike ramp. The fourth bike is fastened to the third
bike using the supplied spacer.
8. The bicycle ramps are infinitely adjustable. They can be moved closer or further apart (from
70 to 360 mm) as desired. You can loosen and tighten the ramps with an Allen key no.7. Always
secure it properly before use.
WARNING
All screw connections and fittings of the bike carrier and the bikes must be checked for robust
installation and, if required, tightened after installation activities, before every journey and also during
a long journey. This check must be repeated regularly depending on the condition of the road surface.
The lights must also be checked before every journey to ensure they work correctly. If this instruction
is ignored, the bike carrier together with the positioned bikes may become loose from the vehicle and
therefore injure you or others or cause an accident.
If the bike carrier is not loaded or is not loaded completely, the spacers that are not required must be
disassembled (i.e. removed). The ratchet straps of all wheel ramps must be closed.
Taking down the bikes takes place in the reverse order.
7. GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Notwithstanding the safety instructions that are specified in the ASSEMBLY & USER INSTRUCTIONS for
the Van 'n Bike bike carrier rack, 2022 model, the owner of the vehicle must ensure the vehicle and
the load operate in accordance with the instructions and that the safety of the vehicle in traffic is not
negatively impacted by the load.
The prescribed lights must also be present during the day and must be operational.
When driving in the dark, the rear and side reflectors of the bicycles must be covered/taped so that a
distorted image of the rear lighting is prevented and other road users are not inconvenienced or
misled.
The ALL-IN ONE bike carrier must only be used for transporting bicycles. The bike carrier is not suitable
for off-roading (i.e. for use on unsurfaced roads or tracks).
