Operation
Turning on/off
To turn on the unit, briefly depress the ON/OFF button.
To turn off the unit, keep the ON/OFF button pressed for 3 seconds.
Auto Off
The unit turns itself off after 30 minutes of idling (no button pressed).
Toggling between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F)
Press the °C/°F button to toggle the display between °C and °F.
Saving optimal temperatures
1.
The thermometer can store up to 4 different temperatures.
2.
Write down the temperatures of various foodstuffs (e.g. milk, fennel tea, food in jars, etc.).
Many packages state the optimal temperature.

Repeatedly press the MEMORY button to select one of the memory locations M1 − M4.

Keep button + or − pressed for 2 seconds to enable the programming mode. A signal is soun-
ded and the optimal temperature on the display starts flashing.

Press + or − to set a temperature, then press MEMORY to store it. Otherwise, the preset tem-
perature will be stored after 9 seconds.
Measuring the temperature
1.
Prior to measuring, carefully stir the heated food.
2.
Select an optimal temperature from locations M1 - M4.
3.
Pull the sleeve off the dip stick.
4.
Clip the thermometer to the bottle or jar. The temperature is displayed.
Note: The dip stick must not touch the bottom of the bottle or jar. This might corrupt the result.

If the temperature bar is "optimal" (see Fig. 1), the temperature of the baby food
(food or drink) is within the optimal range. A sequence of acoustic signals is indicative
of the temperature being optimal.

If the temperature bar is "too hot" (see Fig. 2), the temperature is above the
optimal range. Allow the baby food to cool down a little and take the temperature
again.

If the temperature bar is "too cold" (see Fig. 3), the temperature is below the
optimal range. Warm up the baby food, e.g. by placing the bottle or jar in a suitable
container with hot water, and take the temperature again.

After use, wipe the dip stick with a damp cloth and put the sleeve back on.
Reset
Press the RESET button if the display is wrong or the unit fails to respond. Replace the
battery if this does not remedy the fault.
