Disposal

Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner so that
it can be recycled.
The device is governed by the European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical
and electronic equipment (WEEE). Do not dispose of the device as normal domestic
waste, but rather in an environmentally friendly manner via an offi cially approved
waste disposal company.

Possible cause
Diff erent items of food with
diff erent cooking times have
been prepared at the same
time.
Items of food which require
diff erent cooking tempera-
tures have been prepared at
the same time.
The inner pot ( 1 ) is over-
fi lled.
The sensor is defective.
The device has just been
used and the temperature in
the inner pot is too high.
The device is dirty.
The device is being used for
the fi rst time.
Fix
Place food with a longer cook-
ing time in the device fi rst, then
add ingredients with a shorter
cooking time later.
Prepare items of food with
diff erent cooking temperatures
one after the other.
Reduce the amount of food.
Contact the customer service
department.
Open the lid and allow the in-
side of the device to cool down
a little. Then try again.
Follow the instructions in the
"Cleaning" chapter.
A smell often develops when
new devices are fi rst used.
The smell should disappear
once the device has been used
several times.
