Once the Cooking Time Elapses
Once the set cooking time has elapsed, the device switches off and a beep is heard. At
the end of some programmes, the keep-warm function is automatically activated (see
below). The display shows bb.
1. When the keep-warm function is activated, press the WARMHALTEN/ABBRECHEN
(keep-warm/cancel) button to end it.
2. Open the lid.
3. Grip the inner pot by its handles and take it out of the cooking chamber, place it down
on a heat-resistant surface or serve the food directly.
4. Remove the mains plug from the plug socket after use.
5. Allow the device and accessories to cool down and then clean them (see the
"Cleaning" chapter).
Keep-Warm Function
If the food is not to be served straight away, the keep-warm function can be switched
on using the WARMHALTEN/ ABBRECHEN (keep-warm/cancel) button (29). The
display shows bb. The food is kept warm at a temperature of 68°C for no more than 24
hours.
To switch off the keep-warm function, press the WARMHALTEN/ABBRECHEN (keep-
warm/cancel) button again.

Timer Function

The device has a timer which is used to start the cooking process after a specifi ed time
(after no more than 24 hours). The timer is activated as follows:
1. Connect up the device as described in the "Use" chapter, fi ll it with food and select a
programme or set the cooking time and temperature.
2. Press the STARTZEITVORWAHL (start-time preselection) button (24). 030
fl ashes on the display, which means that the device will switch on in 30 minutes.
3. Use the + / STUNDEN (hours) and – / MINUTEN (minutes) buttons to adjust the
start time.
4. Use the START button to activate the timer. On the display the STARTVORWAHL
(start preselection) symbol lights up and the pot symbol fl ashes.
The device swiches on automatically at the set time and STARTVORWAHL (start
preselection) goes out on the display.
To deactivate the activated timer prematurely, press the WARMHALTEN/
ABBRECHEN (keep-warm/cancel) button (29).
