... the appliance switches off automatically during use?
– If you leave the appliance on for about 45 minutes without
touching any of the buttons, it switches off automatically as a
safety precaution. Use the On/Off switch

– The appliance has probably switched off due to overheating.
Pull out the mains plug, let the appliance cool off and consult
Customer Service.

– This slight crackling is perfectly normal. It is due to the ion
function.

9 Disposal

The electrical appliance does not belong in household waste
disposal bins.
This also applies to electrical appliances that were last used in the
non-private sector, e.g. in branches of trade or industry. In cases
where public waste disposal authorities do not accept electrical
appliances that have been used for non-private purposes, their
waste advisory services can provide information on
environmentally sound disposal.
If the electrical appliance is no longer to be used, it
must be handed over to the relevant local public
waste authorities for disposal.
As a rule these waste disposal authorities run special
reception units for electrical appliances (recycling
centres, materials recovery centres etc.).
