Battery compartment
Remove the battery compartment cover from the receiver and transmitter and insert the required
batteries, observing the correct polarity (as marked).
Safety Instructions for batteries:
• Incorrect polarity of the batteries can destroy the unit.
• Do not store batteries within reach of children, especially those that can be swallowed.
• If a battery is swallowed, the affected person should seek medical attention immediately.
• Do not attempt to reactivate batteries by heating or similar measures.
• Primary batteries must not be charged as this can lead to electrolyte leakage, explosion or fire.
• Do not immerse batteries in water and store them in a dry and cool place, not in a damp place.
• Do not throw batteries into the fire, do not open them or solder or weld them yourself.
• Do not short-circuit batteries.
Coding
Before you can operate the receiver remotely, the transmitter and receiver must be coded identically.
To ensure that the receiver responds correctly to the signal from the transmitter, 16 different coding
options are available. Open the battery compartment cover on the transmitter and turn switch (Fig 2)
B to the position you want between 1 and 16. Turn the switch (Fig 1) D of the receiver to the same
position.
TIP: Before final installation, test the desired function at the installation site of your choice.
Melody selection
The switch (Fig 2) A allows you to set a desired melody:
(a) 2-tone sound
(b) 3-tone sound
(c) Westminster melody
TIP: If you use other transmitters, a call differentiation can be set up via the melody selection.
Function selection
With the switch (Fig 1) A+B you can choose between two modes:
(A) Chime function
(B) Paging function
Chime function
If the switch (Fig 1) is in position A, you can use the wireless chime set as a normal wireless chime,
i.e. you can install a bell system without laying a cable.
After the transmitter has been coded and mounted (fixing material included in the scope of delivery),
the wireless chime can be used. By pressing the bell button, the chime sounds in the desired melody
for a short time. The switch (Fig 1) C allows you to set your desired signal type.
(a) Chime
(b) Flash
(c) Flash and chime
Paging function
If the switch (Fig 1) is in position B, you can use the wireless chime set as a pager. Pressing the
transmitter activates the mode you want for 2 minutes.
This function is ideal for summoning a remote person without their attention being directed
at the receiver when the alert is triggered. The transmitter is mobile or can be mounted within
reach. The person to be called can also move freely within a radius of up to 150m. The paging
function can be stopped prematurely using the reset button on the front panel. Of course, all
modes (chime, flash or flash and chime) are also available when the paging function is activated.
You can assign up to 4 transmitters to one receiver.

Installation in an existing bell system
This wireless chime is suitable for installation in an existing bell system. Two-circuit variants are
available for this purpose:
1. You have an existing bell system with transformer and want to switch the wireless chime
parallel to the existing chime in another room (Fig 2):
• Connect contacts A and C of the transmitter in parallel to the existing bell system. If you have
no function or a continuous function, terminals A and C must be interchanged.
2. You have an existing bell push and want to operate it together with the wireless chime set
(Fig 3):
• Connect contacts B and C of the transmitter in parallel to the existing bell button.
Changing the flash covers
To change the coloured covers, remove them evenly and carefully from the receiver and insert the
cover of your choice into the four fixing holes.
Inscription panel
Open the transmitter's label field at the recess provided for this purpose and place a label, e.g. your
name, behind the transparent cover. Close the labelling field by pressing lightly and straight on the
transparent cover.
Important notice
• The range between transmitter and receiver is maximum 150m in the open field. The radio signal
is transmitted through walls, walls, furniture and other obstacles, but depends on the structural
conditions - walls, especially reinforced concrete walls, heat-insulating glazing and ceilings lead
to a reduction in range.
• Shielding caused by metal parts can severely impair reception, so that the signal cannot be
transmitted. For this reason, never attach the transmitter to metal surfaces.
• For installation, drill holes in the location provided by you and fasten the individual devices with
the aid of the enclosed fastening material. Before final installation, test the desired function at the
installation site of your choice.
Help
Radio signals are transmitted on a non-exclusive channel, so interference cannot be completely
ruled out.
No function
• Check the coding of transmitter and receiver - this must be the same.
• Check the batteries, they may be empty or incorrectly inserted.
Function only at short distance:
• Check the batteries, they may be empty or running low.
Malfunction:
• In urban agglomerations, false alarms may be triggered due to overload of the available radio
channels.
If this should occur, change the set coding e.g. from 1 to 3.
Cleaning
• Disconnect the product from the power supply by removing the batteries.
• Only clean the product with a dry or slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
If necessary, use a mild detergent. Do not use cleaning agents containing acids or solvents.
