Instructions
First use
When using the popcorn maker for the first time, wash the measuring spoon and lid/ bowl with water, and dry
them all. Clean the heating tray with a wet cloth and dry it well. Do not immerge the motor unit into water.
How to use it
Place the popcorn maker on a flat and stable surface.
Remove the lid/bowl and put it aside. Pour maximum 75 gr (equivalent to 1 measuring spoon) of corn kernels
into the heating tray and spread evenly. Pour the right amount of cooking oil (or butter) and sugar or other spices
into the heating tray.
Put the lid/bowl back onto the backing tray.
Warning: do not switch on the popcorn maker before adding the corn kernels.
Never turn on the popcorn maker before placing the lid on the cooking base.
Plug the power cord into the electrical outlet. Turn on the popcorn maker using the on/off switch. The operating
light will turn on, the stirrer will start rotating and the corn kernels will be heated up. When the temperature is
reached, the operating light will turn off.
Warning: when the popcorn maker is running, do not block the vents of the lid.
Within 3 to 5 minutes, corn kernels will start popping. When the popping has stopped, your popcorn is ready.
Switch off the popcorn button, and then unplug the power cord from the socket. Normally it will take about 5 to
9 minutes.
Grasp the handles of the cooking base and the lid using a pot holder and be careful not to burn yourself.
Hold the base and lid firmly together and turn upside down so that the lid/bowl rests on the table. Now you can
use the lid as a popcorn bowl. You can add salt or sugar and enjoy your popcorn.
Allow the popcorn maker to cool for 15 - 20 minutes before the next use.
Note: Depending on the corn kernels used, the volume of popcorn obtained will differ. The ideal amount
of corn kernels is 60 gr. If you add vegetable oil, the maximum capacity is 75gr.
Cleaning and care of the popcorn maker
Make sure the popcorn maker is turned off, with the switch in off position and the power cord unplugged from the
socket. Wait for the heating tray and motor unit to cool down.
Clean the lid/bowl with warm water and detergent.
Clean the heating tray with a cloth moistened with warm water and dry carefully. Do not use abrasive sponges
or abrasive detergents. Rotate the fixing screw counterclockwise and remove the stirrer. Wash them with soapy
water and dry. Do not wash any part of the popcorn maker in the dishwasher. Clean the body with a soft cloth
moistened with warm water. Do not immerse the popcorn machine in water. Do not spray cleaning liquids directly
on the popcorn machine.
