Run the enclosed red single wire with fuse holder (function permanent plus / clamp 30) on the left

vehicle's side along the vehicle's wiring harness to the main electrical centre "BSI" below the steering

wheel. Find the big black connector plug and disconnect it from the "BSI" (see picture 1). For this,

move the red connector locking lever to the top until it latches in. Insert the 2,8mm female terminal at

the end of the red single wire into the free chamber 8 of the big black connector. For this, move the

yellow secondary locking on the connecting side of the plug upwards.

After the wire has latched in, close the yellow secondary locking and re-connect the connector to the

"BSI" while pushing down the red locking lever until it has latched in proper.

Fasten the remaining fuse holder (7,5 A) on a proper place with a cable tie.

Dismantle the remaining open end of the red single wire on the rear left side of the trunk

approx. 5 mm and crimp the enclosed flat male terminal (6,3 mm) on the dismantled cable end. After

that, put it into the enclosed white single male connector housing.

Put this connector onto the remaining, matching counter piece of the trailer wiring harness

(red cable).

The remaining white male flat terminal (6,3 mm) housing on the trailer wiring harness is not needed

anymore. It must be insulated proper and accurate and attached to the wiring harness with

insulation tape.
