• Remove all stickers and packages from the appliance.
• Clean all parts of the appliance and dry thoroughly, see section Cleaning.
• Place the deep fat fryer on a plane and stable surface, far from inflammable objects.
• Fold out the handle and attach it carefully to the basket.
• Fix the lid handle onto the lid with screw included, use a screwdriver to fix it.
• Fill the dry and empty deep fat fryer with oil or fat to the upper mark in the tank ( 1 liter of oil or
0,8 kg. of fat).
• Never mix different types of fat or oil.
• Make sure that Thermostat is on the Min position before plugging the appliance.
• Plug the appliance in the mains plug.
• Set the thermostat to the required temperature setting, light indicator switches on.
• The power light indicator will remain on until the set temperature has been reached, and then
it will cycle on and of throughout cooking. This will ensure that the deep fryer maintains the
correct temperature.
FILL THE BASKET WITH FOOD
Caution : Do not exceed the maximum filling quantities specified in these instruction (see table).
• Place the basket carefully into the tank and cover the lid.
• During the frying process, occasionally remove the basket from the oil/fat and shake the
contents.
FRYING WITH SOLID FAT
• We recommend to dissolve solid fat in a normal frying pan at slowly temperature, then pour it
into the deep fryer.
• After use, store the deep fat fryer with resolidified fat at room temperature to avoid any risk of
spatting when reheated.
• Useful tips : poke the solid fat with a fork several times before using again to avoid any risk of
spatting or burning.
