CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
The appliance must not be immersed.
Never immerse the jug, its power base, power
cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
Warning: avoid spillage on the connector.
Do not use sharp, toxic and aggressive
products, such as methylated spirits, industrial
strippers or solvents to clean your device
because they may damage it.

Cleaning the appliance and its accessories

Before cleaning your appliance, switch off the device by
pressing the ON/OFF button.
Then unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
Wait until the appliance has cooled down before cleaning it.
Use a soft cloth or sponge dampened with a neutral pH
product to clean the surfaces of the jug.
Clean the base with a dry, soft cloth.
Clean the lids and the filter with hot water and washing up
liquid. Rinse with clear water and allow to dry.
Empty and clean the inside of the jug after each time you
brew tea. Pour a little hot water inside the jug and clean the
inside with a soft sponge until any deposits are removed.
Pour out the used water, then rinse with clear water and
allow to dry before placing the jug on its base.
Note: In order to remove tannin residue and any other
persistent deposits, fill the jug with water without exceeding
the maximum level (1.5 L).
