INSTALLATION

ATTENTION: THE INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL OF DEVICES CAN ONLY BE CARRIED OUT BY
TECHNICALLY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL. THE CAR'S SYSTEM MUST AT ALL TIMES MEET THE SAFETY
REQUIREMENTS. CHECK THE CORRECT OPERATION OF ALL THE CAR'S SAFETY SYSTEMS BEFORE
INSTALLING ON THE DASHBOARD. THE RADIO SHOULD NOT BE INSTALLED IF THE CAR'S SAFETY
SYSTEMS ARE NOT WORKING PROPERLY.
IMPORTANT: BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE ASSEMBLY SIMPLY CONNECT THE WIRING TO TEST
ALL THE FUNCTIONS, WITHOUT INSTALLING THE CAR RADIO INSIDE THE DASHBOARD. IN THIS
WAY THE PRODUCT WILL REMAIN INTACT AND CAN THUS BE RETURNED/REPLACED UNDER THE
SAME CONDITIONS OF SALE, THEREFORE WITHOUT ADDITIONAL COSTS. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO
OBTAIN A FULL REFUND FOR PRODUCTS THAT SHOW SIGNS OF INSTALLATION (OR OTHER IM-
PERFECTIONS), IN THIS CASE THE PRODUCT WILL BE SUBJECT TO EVALUATION (SEE CONSUMER
CODE ART.57).
BEFORE PREPARING TO DRIVE, CHECK THE PROPER FUNCTIONING OF ALL THE CAR'S SAFETY
SYSTEMS, DO NOT USE THE VEHICLE UNLESS THERE IS A CERTAINTY THAT IT MEETS THE SAFETY
REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY TO ENSURE A SAFE CONDITION. JFSOUND DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY
FOR DAMAGES ATTRIBUTABLE TO THE USE OF THE VEHICLE UNDER CONDITIONS THAT DO NOT
COMPLY WITH SAFETY REGULATIONS.

BEFORE INSTALLING THE RADIO

First check the integrity of the device and its accessories, if defects or imperfections are found, do not pro-
ceed with the installation and contact JFsound technical support by writing to assistenza@jfsound.it ex-
plaining the problem and attaching any photos.
Before connecting the radio, check that the supplied connectors are compatible with those of the car; in
case of doubt contact the JFsound technical support by writing to assistenza@jfsound.it explaining the
problem and attaching any photos of the original connectors of the car and photos of the back of the origi-
nal radio.
Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal (–) of the battery before installation. Wiring and installa-
tion with the negative terminal of the battery (–) connected can cause electric shock and injuries due to a
short circuit. Some cars require specific procedures to disconnect the battery terminal.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE PROCEDURE MAY CAUSE INADVERTENT MALFUNCTIONING OF THE SAFE-
TYSYSTEMS, CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE, PHYSICAL INJURY OR DEATH.
NB: FOR DEVICES EQUIPPED WITH CD/DVD REMOVE THE MECHANICAL LOCK SCREWS LOCATED
AT THE TOP OF THE RADIO BODY.
