High noise levels can cause hearing damage.
Exposure to high noise levels can cause permanent, disabling hearing loss and other problems such as tinnitus. Therefore, the
risk assessment and implementation of appropriate controls for these hazards are essential. Appropriate controls to reduce the
risk can include actions such as damping materials to prevent the workpiece from ringing. Use hearing protection in accordance
with employer's instructions and as required by occupational health and safety regulations. Keep tool maintained to prevent an
increase in noise and vibration. Replace and maintain the inserted tool to prevent an increase in noise. Ensure that the sander
muffler is still installed each time you use it. Significant increases of noise during operation of the sander may indicate damage.
The sander should be reviewed for damage.
Noise from operating the sander can cause injuries.
Vibration exposure can cause disabling injuries.
Wear warm clothing when working in cold conditions. Keep your hands warm and dry. Stop using the sander if you experience
numbness, tingling, pain, or whitening of the skin and contact a physician. Operate and maintain the sander as recommended
in the instruction handbook, to prevent unnecessary increases in vibration levels. Replace the tool as recommended in the
instruction handbook to prevent increase in vibration. Hold the tools with a light, but safe grip taking account of the required
hand-reaction forces. Significant increases of vibration during operation of the sander indicate damage. The sander and inserted
tool should be reviewed for damage if vibration increases.
Prolonged exposure to vibration can cause injury.
Air under pressure can cause injury.
Shut of air supply, drain hose and disconnect from tool before servicing tool or changing accessories. Never direct air at yourself or
anyone else. Whipping air hoses can cause severe injury. Always check for damaged or loose hoses and fittings. Use lock pins and
whipcheck safety cables when using universal twist couplings (claw couplings). Cold exhaust air should be directed away from hands.
Do not exceed the maximum air pressure stated on tool. Do not carry the tool by the hose.
Using excessive force on a tool makes it hard to control.

it into the tool. See information sheet for any additional maintenance requirements.

Tools not operated at proper air pressure can operate erratically.
Do not exceed a maximum air pressure of 90 psig/6.2 bar or as stated on the tool's nameplate or operating instructions. Use an air
regulator to maintain proper air pressure.

Always remove tool from air supply and activate trigger to bleed air line before making any adjustments, changing accessories,
or doing any maintenance or service on tool. Make it a habit to check to see that all adjusting keys and wrenches have been
removed from tool before turning it on.

Children are attracted to work areas.
Keep children away. All visitors must keep a safe distance away from work area.
Children in work areas can be injured.
The use of any accessory with this tool not provided or specified by Sioux Tools can perform unpredictably.
