2.1 COUPLING THE CULTIVATOR TO THE ROTARY
CULTIVATOR
2.1.1 For cultivators with fixed position coupling.
The cultivator attachment is coupled to the rotary cultivator by means of the two
link rods n.1 as shown in fig.2, supplied as standard equipment with the rotary
cultivator.
2.1.2 For rotary cultivators fitted with quick couples.
To couiple the cultivator attachment to the rotary cultivator, slide the cultivator
coupling shaft A fig.3 into the the rotary cultivator's coupling sleeve making sure
that notch C is as shown by the arrow (narrow seating) and push forward until
hook B snaps completely into place.
To separate the cultivator, first lift the hook up and and push the cultivator
forward slightly.
2.2 REGULATING WORK DEPTH
Work depth is regulated by the angle of the hoes connected to the directional
blade n.1 fig.1.
2.3 REGULATING HOOD HEIGHT
To regullate hood height, insert screw n.2 fig.1 in one of the holes on the height
adjustment rod. This operation is necessary to prevent soil from accumulating
under the hood when you are working on very wet ground or to prevent
excessive dust when working very dry ground.
2.4 REGULATING HOOD WIDTH
Hood width can be regulated by moving the screws n.3 (fig.1) to the holes
corresponding to the cultivating width required.
Repeat this operation on both sections of hood.
2.5 REGULATING CULTIVATING WIDTH
The precise layout of the hoes and their carriers for the different cultivating
widths are shown in fig.4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
