Using the Product as Intended

The 60940 decoder is for converting Marklin locomotives
that appear on the following listing.

This decoder may only be used for the models listed below
or for all Märklin locomotives equipped with a 21-pin con-
nector and a blue decoder circuit board. If necessary, adjust
the value for CV 56 (see the following table). Trix locomotives
with a built-in sine motor cannot be converted. his decoder

pickup shoe changeover feature. These settings can only
be done in the mfx or DCC mode and are then also effective

mfx: Call up the CVs, select a function not taken.
Call up "S" with the "+", select output 4, select direction of
travel "<", and store in memory. After that, call up "F" and
carry out programming as before. After that, the pickup shoe
changeover feature is activated.
DCC: Select the value 32 in CV 437 as well as CV 442 and
store in memory. After that the pickup changeover feature
is activated.
