EXTRA FUNCTIONS
Security function
The security function can be enabled by
setting the potentiometer lux value to
"Holiday".
This will cause the red LED to flash for 10
seconds and then illuminate for 10 sec-
onds to indicate that the detector is in se-
curity mode. Then the following will take
place irrespective of the standard lux,
movement and time conditions: every
day after the lux value drops below 50
lux the lighting will switch on for varying
lengths of time and at varying intervals
between 10 minutes and 4 hours.
In this period, if the lighting is switched
off, the red LEDs will move back and
forth. In this period, if the lighting is
switched on, all LEDs will flash simulta-
neously.
By resetting the lux potentiometer to the
correct lux value, the security function
will turn off again and the detector will
run in "automatic" mode again.
Watch function
The Watch function can be enabled by
setting the "Watch" potentiometer to On.
This will cause the 4 red LEDs to act in
two different ways.
1.
In standby. If the lighting is switched
off, the LEDs will move back and forth as
though a scan is being performed.
2. After detection has taken place, the
LEDs will simultaneously flash on/off. Af-
ter the set time has elapsed, it will return
to standby scan mode.
It is easy to disable the Watch function by
switching the "Watch" potentiometer to
off again.
