DESCRIPTION
The detector should be mounted on the
ceiling or a flat wall. The detection field is
240° with a 16m radius at an installation
height of 2.50m.
After the jumper has been removed, the
relay output is potential free and can be
loaded up to 10A. The relay is controlled
by a micro processor that closes the
relay at the zero crossing. The switch-
off delay is adjustable between 5 sec.
and 30 min. and can be configured as
an impulse sender (t = 1 sec. then 9 sec.
off). The lux value can be set to a fixed
level using the potentiometer or set to
an actual lux value by the learning mode.
The movement sensor can be mounted
either on the ceiling or on a flat wall. The

every 5 sec throughout these 8 hours.
After 8 hours the detector
will automatically return to normal mode.
At any point in these 8 hours, the user
can return the lighting to automatic mode
by interrupting the voltage briefly (less
than 1 sec) using the cancel switch. To
confirm this command, the detector will
switch the light off for 2 sec and then
return to normal mode.
These settings can also be changed to
constantly on or off using the optional
remote control IR-11 (870588).

CONSTANTLY ON
Transition from automatic to 8 hours.
The extra radar sensor integrated in the
870060 is able to detect movement
through materials like plastic, wood and
brick. It cannot detect through water or
metal.
The radar sensor has a high degree of
detection reliability and is less sensitive
to temperature fluctuations and other
sources of interference compared to the
PIR sensor.
When choosing a position, remember
that the sensor detects through materi-
als. This increases the likelihood of unin-
tended triggering of the connected load.

Teaching in actual lux value
By setting the potentiometer lux value
by eye, the learning function is enabled.
The sensor measures the lux value in the
environment and saves it in the memory.
The function can only be used in the
range 5 - 500 lux. A setting of 5 lux is
specified for anything below 5 lux and
the lux value threshold is switched off
above 500 lux.
Note: Do not stand in the vicinity of the
sensor when teaching in. This will have a
significant influence on the value meas-
urement and lead to errors.
The LED integrated in the sensor will
slowly flash for 25 seconds during the
teaching-in process, following which
the light will illuminate for 5 seconds
and then the light will go out. This signal
means that the teaching-in process has
completed successfully.
