APPLICATIONS
The LD500 receiver is designed to be used with all rotating lasers.
The receiver includes built-in magnets to mount on various grading and excavating machinery. A
clamp is also included to be used on grade rods for general purpose grade checking and
elevation control.
Machine Mode
Position the bucket or blade to the desired elevation (benchmark). When using on an excavator or
backhoe, the dipperstick should be vertical and the bucket"curled" or extended to a position that
can be easily duplicated each time a reading is taken. Separate the clamp from the receiver,, turn
the receiver on, and select the appropriate machine mode deadband, Mount the receiver so it
receives an "on-grade" reading from the laser.
Grade Rod Mode
When using on a grade rod, ensure the clamp is seated properly to the receiver and the on-grade
arrows on the clap and the receiver align. Secure the clap on the rod and follow the directions
that were supplied with the laser.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle raw materials instead of disposing as waste. The machine, accessories and
packaging should be sorted for environmental-friendly recycling. Do not throw used batteries
into waste, fire or water but dispose of in an environmentally friendly manner according to the
applicable legal regulations.
