Canopy
STEP 1:
Mount beauty plate to canopy ceiling to cover existing hole by
locating holes in corners of beauty plate and use appropriate
fasteners for the mounting surface.
NOTE: For wet locations, caulk between beauty plate and canopy
ceiling to prevent water from leaking through beauty plate into
area below the canopy. A high grade caulking material such as
silicone rubber should be used.
STEP 2:
Follow the Steps below in the Surface Mount, Rear Conduit Entry
Installation section.

SURFACE MOUNT, REAR CONDUIT ENTRY INSTALLATION
Luminaire
IMPORTANT: It is not necessary to disassemble luminaire during
the installation process.
STEP 1:
(4) #8 Self-Tapping
Use existing hole or cut a 4" diameter (5" max) hole at desired

mounting location in canopy ceiling. See Figure 1.
STEP 2:
Hold luminaire in place below canopy and secure from below the
canopy using (4) #8 stainless steel sheet metal screws (supplied).
NOTE: For wet locations, caulk between rear ring gaskets on
luminaire and mounting surface to prevent water from entering
luminaire from behind or water from above canopy draining
into area below canopy. A high grade caulking material such as
silicone rubber should be used.
