SAFETY RULES ON HOw TO AVOID KICK-
BACK
kickback is a very sudden movement of the chain-
saw. It happens when the user cut an object with
the upper quadrant of the bar nose and the chain-
saw bar jumps off the object, towards the user.
kickback may become very dangerous for the user
and therefore, be extremely cautious when limb-
ing and avoid contacting the log with the nose of
the bar. Moreover, be very cautious with the limbs
under tension, since they can move backwards
and towards you like a spring, which can cause you
serious injury.
