DESCRIPTION

EXT 220-2 is an audio signal distiributor. EXT200-2 is the perfect answer for audio signal
dispatching in various domains, such as broadcasting, night clubs, sound systems. It allows to
balance and transmit high level signals, avoiding local disturbances. EXT 220-2 is house in a 3U
19" case, the design is modular.
Thanks to the LINK possibility, numerous configuration are allowed :
a) Option ten circuits and one power supply :
for instance 1 stereo towards 10; two times 1 towards 5; 1 to 4; 1 to 6; or 10 to 1.
b) Option 8 circuits and 2 power supplies and supervisors :
for instance 1 stereo towards 10; two times 1 towards 5; 1 to 4; 1 to 6; or 8 to 1.
 Possibility to go from right/left to mono.
 Output level control using multi tours Cermet pots.
 XLR balanced input/output (electronic, or transformer balanced).
 Very low impedance output.
 Very high input level before overload.

USES

 Despatching the same signal to devices requiring different input levels.
 Despatching the antenna output from Broadcast audio mixing console.
 Despatching satellite signals in multi output CDM.
 Despatching signal for recording.
 Total insulation of outputs when despatching signal to different remote sites (output
transformer required).
 Ease and speed of various despatch reconfiguration..
 Thanks to high performance, and particulary well protected output amplifiers, EXT220-2 is
the perfect device to drive specialised wire links, either coax or shielded, on long distances.
 The wide bandpass allows EXT220-2 to handle FM and MPX signals.
